The maintenance-free air-lux sliding system, with sliding windows of up to 18 m2, is designed by Krapf AG, a leading Swiss metal and façade manufacturing company and supplier of high-quality solutions. With air-lux, we can offer architects, façade planners and house builders a versatile façade window system that is architecturally, aesthetically and structurally sound.

The air-lux patented pneumatic sealing system delivers the world's tightest-closing façade systems. The craftsmanship of the robust, refined aluminium frames complies with the highest quality standards. Air-lux can be adapted to individual security requirements up to class RC3.

PATENTED AIR SEALING SYSTEM

The patented pneumatic sealing system means air-lux sliding windows have outstanding structural characteristics, and offer pleasant living comfort in all weather conditions. The edge sealing provides 100% closure against driving rain, wind and noise etc. Air is compressed inside the frame, and silently pumped into the seal.

SMOOTH OPENING AND CLOSING

When the sliding part is in the “closed position”, the seal installed inside the frame is inflated at the touch of a button, and is pressed against the sliding profile. This means the gap between the fixed and sliding element is always 100% closed.To open the sliding panel, the seal is emptied and retracted by pressing a button.In contrast to other systems with sealing lips or brushes, the invisible, maintenance-free air-lux technology allows the sliding panels to slide smoothly without friction.

WINDOWS AND DOORS WITH AIR-LUX TECHNOLOGY

In addition to sliding systems, the air-lux (building) system also includes window and door systems with the same patented air sealing. This means that your entire project can be implemented in air-tight glass using our air-lux building system!
